How do I start the questionnaire?
Follow the link ‘Please log in to begin’ on our www.energysavingsurvey.co.uk and then enter the username and passcode we sent you on the letter.
Who can participate?
Anyone aged 16 or older can complete the questionnaire, as long as they have joint or sole responsibility for energy bills and were living in this property when the energy saving measures were installed.
How long is the questionnaire?
The questionnaire should only take about 20-25 minutes to complete, depending on the answers you give.
Who has commissioned this research?
The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has commissioned Verian, an independent research organisation, to conduct this study on its behalf. The results will be used to inform future planning and policy design.
Can I complete the survey on my smartphone?
Yes, you can complete the survey on your smartphone.
Can I complete the survey in another format?
Yes, if you would like to receive a paper version of the survey to fill in please email energysavingsurvey@veriangroup.com and one will be sent to you with a pre-paid envelope to send back.
Do I get paid for taking part?
As a thank you for your time, you will receive a £10 voucher.
Is the information I provide safe online?
We take our responsibilities to keep your personal information secure very seriously. As such we take every reasonable precaution to ensure your information is protected from loss, theft or misuse. We use a secure Website (HTTPS) to ensure that your data is protected. This is the same type of Website that you would generally see when shopping online.
As part of our commitment to the security of your information, Verian has regular internal and external audits of its information security and is accredited to the International Standard for Information Security, ISO 27001.
What about cookies?
This web questionnaire detects your computer's operating system, screen resolution and the browser you are using in order to adjust the questionnaire to best suit your system. This is done by the use of a cookie created on your computer. This information is returned to us and stored for statistical purposes only. We do not collect or store any personal information. It is possible for you to delete 'cookies' or to prevent their use by adjusting the browser settings on your computer.
